Find a Place for Your Passion

As I approach graduation, I think about what's to come of my future. I think a fear I share with many of my peers is the loss of passion. We fear that we will trade our creativity and freedom for drab careers, and digging our way out of debt. We fear that 9+ hours at work will take away leisure time, the time we have always used to think, read and absorb. So what do we do when we feel the threat of losing an important part of ourselves? 

We work harder. With whatever time you have, invest it in something you are passionate about. If you don't know what it is you're passionate about, try new things; ask yourself what you would like to change? What could you do that will disturb the way things are currently done. Become an expert in whatever you're passionate about. If you can't sleep because you're thinking about your passion, you have to go after that. You are much more than a mind numbing 9-5. Not to say all 9-5's are bad but if you feel that it is not fulfilling find something that is. If you're willing to invest time and effort into your passion, it will create value for you. Value that exceeds the fulfillment of just financial pay. Your time is worth much more than being a worker bee, making someone else's dream happen. Find what you love and go after it full force.

It's been a weird week for me. I really appreciate having a good support system to help me when I'm going through something. I'm happier today and the weathers amazing even though I have to head to work soon.

Encouraging Myself

It's weird sometimes when you're trying really hard to make your vision come to fruition, you will find that people are not there to support you. I have to constantly remind myself to not become disheartened by people's reactions to me. It's sucks that in the world we live in it's easier to doubt yourself then to believe in yourself. In the bible god says that all you need is the faith the size of a mustard seed. Willpower is the difference between the individual that sees there dreams realized and the person that does not. "When you really want something all of the world conspire's in helping you achieve it." That is the quote I live by. My purpose in starting my blog because I was in a place in my life when I was discovering how to truly be positive and I wanted to share. I want my journey of being the best version of myself to transpire into the same journey for many people and until I reach that goal I'll keep encouraging myself until I do.

Personal Growth and Hope

It's a difficult thing to understand yourself. At least for me it is. I go through phases and moods. I learn quick and I readjust quicker. I'm quiet at times and can be friendly at others. I'm observant and empathetic also cold and encouraging, sometimes distant but overall happy.

 The journey to understand yourself is a difficult one and maybe even impossible. But I pride myself in my effort to seek growth. I hope that by being transparent and honest with myself I can grow. I don't want to be cold, I don't want to stutter sometimes, I'm constantly trying to readjust myself because I love myself, and I see so much room for more. I post quotes and blog about inspiration because most of my life I did not share who I was out of fear of not being in agreement with others. That is no way to live. 

I am starting to share the things that I want for myself so that they become real. I am not afraid to be openly passionate about the things I love. I hope that everyone can find what they love. I hope you divulge in as many things as possible until you find the thing or things that give you purpose. I hope you get to know yourself. I know this is somewhat of a rant but whatever lol
